Extra Curricular Activities

We believe that extra curricular activities play an important role in the spiritual, moral, personal, social and physical development of all children and we encourage as many pupils as possible to participate in after school clubs.

We ask pupils on a regular basis what types of clubs they would like to see at school and we aim to accommodate as many clubs as possible to nurture pupils’ different interests and talents.

We have staff in school who run clubs and we also use external agencies. These are often rotated on a termly basis.

Clubs we have run:

Sport Clubs

Football, Cricket, Tag Rugby, Dodge Ball, Athletics, Tri Golf, Fencing, Modern Pentathlon (Laser Run), Archery, Hi Five (Netball), Curling, Bocchia, Table Tennis, Multi Skills, Cheer leading, Dance, Gymnastics, Cross Country

Other Clubs

Art, Computing, Design Technology, Drama, Musical Theatre, Cookery, Homework, Maths and English Boosters, Chess, Board games, Reading Buddies

We are always looking for different clubs. Why not have a think and see if there is an activity that you would like to try.

At the beginning of every term a letter or email will be sent out about the clubs taking place each term. Some clubs are aimed at specific year groups, but over the course of the year every pupil will have the opportunity to participate in a number of clubs.
