Religious Education
Our RE lessons are intended to offer a broad and rich RE curriculum which provides equal opportunities for all .We aim to provide children with the opportunity to think logically and explore big questions about life, death, meaning and purpose; to reflect critically on the truth claims of Christianity and to see how the truth of Christianity is relevant today. We aim to teach pupils to develop respect for others, including people with different faiths and beliefs. We aim to develop Religious Literacy and the skills to handle Bible text. We aim to develop our pupils spiritually and provide them with imaginative learning experiences which arouse and sustain their interest, and which encourage a variety of responses. We want our pupils to be informed, confident and Questful. We believe that excellent RE teaching can be the key to enabling every child to flourish.
